You'll also have the opportunity to meet other local photographers and enjoy conversations in Japanese.

Portrait Photography Using Natural and Available Light

Designed with beginners in mind, this workshop explains the fundamentals of portrait photography using natural light and the surrounding environment in a clear and easy-to-follow way.

Hands-on Flash Photography

Experience off-camera flash techniques that are essential for creating professional-looking portraits. You're welcome to join even if you don't own a flash.

Practical English for Photography

Photograph local freelance models while learning simple English phrases for giving posing directions and communicating during a shoot.

Please note that the model may sometimes be Japanese.

Small Group Learning with Personalised Support

Because this is a small-group workshop, you'll receive individual guidance tailored to your experience level and goals. Beginners are very welcome.

Part 1: Introduction

Learn the fundamentals of camera settings, techniques for creating engaging portraits, composition, and how to work effectively with light.

Part 2: Practical Photo Session

Put what you've learned into practice by photographing a model while receiving individual feedback from the instructor throughout the session. Applying the techniques immediately helps reinforce your learning.

Relaxed and Friendly Atmosphere

Rather than a one-way lecture, the workshop encourages questions and interaction, creating a welcoming environment where participants can learn from one another.
