Vendor Terms
Quick summary
- Read this alongside the Terms of Use; these points apply when you offer services on LensTokyo.
- Deliver the exact services you advertise and upload the files on time.
- Keep your Stripe, tax, and invoice details up to date so payouts can be sent.
- If you work in Japan, make sure your visa lets you take paid work.
These vendor terms cover anyone who lists experiences, accepts bookings, or gets paid through LensTokyo. Any capitalised terms mean the same thing they do in the main Terms of Use unless we say otherwise.
1. Eligibility and onboarding
- Share true and current details about your services, languages, and verification documents, and update them whenever something changes. We may ask for extra proof if we need it.
- We can pause, reject, or remove a vendor profile that is incomplete, misleading, out of date, or fails our checks.
2. Service standards and deliverables
- Provide the experience exactly as described in your listing. Get customer approval through LensTokyo messages before changing price, schedule, or scope.
- Upload photos, videos, or other promised files through LensTokyo within the agreed timeline. Automatic acceptance after seven days does not remove this obligation.
- Keep all communication professional, respect privacy rules, and share important updates through LensTokyo so everyone can see the history.
3. Payments, taxes, and fees
- Stripe Connect Express manages your payouts. Keep your account, ownership, and banking details accurate so transfers are not delayed.
- LensTokyo deducts platform fees automatically. Refunds, disputes, coupon use, or penalties can change your final payout amount.
- You are responsible for reporting your earnings and paying any taxes that apply.
4. Visa and legal compliance (Japan)
If you access or use LensTokyo from Japan, you must make sure your residence status (visa) allows self-employment or paid services. LensTokyo does not check whether you are allowed to work and is not responsible for any immigration, tax, or employment issues that arise. By offering services here, you confirm that you follow all laws and visa rules wherever you operate.
5. Cancellations and disputes
- Follow the seven-day reschedule and cancellation policy from the main Terms of Use. If the window has passed, you must deliver the service unless the customer cancels.
- LensTokyo can hold payouts, issue refunds, or reverse transfers if work is missing, poor quality, or breaks our rules.
- Work with LensTokyo support and share files, communication logs, or other proof if a dispute is reviewed.
6. Intellectual property
You own the original work you create. Customers get the usage rights described in the package, and LensTokyo may show previews or thumbnails to promote the experience, the booking, or the platform.
7. Policy changes
We may update these vendor terms. We will tell you about major changes through the dashboard or email. If you keep using the vendor tools after an update, it means you accept the new version.
